lora.run
Touch launcher for Windows meeting rooms: the room calendar and one-press join into Teams, Zoom or Webex. It is not an embedded room system; it drives the clients already installed. Written after QuickLaunch was discontinued at the end of 2024, in a pilot room since August 2026.
See RoomStartI run an IT department, and have done for twenty years. It is an operational job: technology, budgets and teams, and above all turning a need into a solution. You listen to users and to management, you weigh the trade-offs, you decide what gets put in place, you deploy it, and you answer for what runs every day. That is where you learn what holds up over time, and what a vendor leaves out before you sign.
Building a product is the same act without the middleman. The products on this page are recent, written over the past months, and each starts from a need I heard someone put into words: instead of picking software and living with its limits, I write it. RoomStart is the clearest case, written when the tool everyone relied on stopped being maintained. What running a department brings here is knowing what a tool costs once deployed, not merely once demonstrated. The difference is that on these four I hold the whole chain myself: design, code, database, deployment, app store, support.
Infrastructure audits, ERP selection, cloud migration, security reviews, framing a project: I have done all of it and I still do. The three formats are set out on the consulting page, which is in French.
See the formatsAmendly, Viatic and Lora are live: you create an account and use them. RoomStart is installed and sold under a per-screen licence; it runs in one pilot room today, and commercial availability is in preparation.
On infrastructure I administer myself, in Europe. No opaque subcontracting, and no dependency on a platform whose prices and rules I would not control.
Yes, when someone asks. I do not prospect and I have no calendar to fill. Describe what you are after and I will tell you honestly whether it is for me.
Kramer ended Quicklaunch support in 2024. Here is what still works, the Microsoft EWS cutoff on 1 October 2026, and the options for your rooms.
